The model-driven approach Sopra Group for projects in Business Intelligence & Analytics

Living this year the event Codemotion as sponsors of the initiative was very engaging, as was to intervene as a speaker. Below I have included an excerpt of the slides projected during my speech on the applicability of a model-driven approach to the implementation of Business Intelligence projects.

From the original presentation I deleted some slides dedicated to Sopra Group: information of an economic / financial synthesized in these slides are available in expanded form directly on the corporate website in its investors.

Cognos BI 8.4 debuts at "Cognos Performance 2008"

Yesterday was held in Rome on Cognos Performance 2008 event organized in collaboration with a number of partners including Sopra Group . Working for several months on projects focused on the Cognos BI Suite 8.3, I was especially attracted by the presentation of the new features of the next release. Nevertheless, he appreciated the attempt to organize the initial sessions with a direct and informal communication model.

Cognos Finance Forum 2008

SDA Bocconi promotes and guides the Observatory on Business Intelligence in Italy

The birth of the ' Observatory on Business Intelligence systems coordinated by SDA Bocconi with the participation of several industrial partners (Board MIT, Business Objects, CSI Piemonte, HP, KPMG Advisory, Microsoft, Oracle and Sopra Group) is probably the main news that has affected the sector after the summer break.

Personally, I am enthusiastic about the initiative, and I think in fact that the Italian market of BI has long since reached a level of maturity and awareness as to offer interesting points of analysis and reflection for an assessment project that affects the whole country.
